How it works

1. Upload or type in your results

Upload a PDF or photo of your report, or type the values in by hand. If your PDF is one your laboratory generated, the values are read in your browser and the file is never sent anywhere. Scans and photographs have to be read on a server, and we ask first.

2. Check every value

Reading values off a report is the step most likely to go wrong, so nothing is explained until you have confirmed each row against your own copy. Rows the system was unsure about are marked and have to be confirmed individually.

3. Read the explanation

Each marker gets a plain-language description of what it measures, how your result compares with the range printed on your report, what can influence it, and questions worth asking.

4. Download what you want to keep

Print it, save it as a PDF, or download the values as a spreadsheet. All of it is generated in your browser.

5. Delete the session

Press Finish and delete, or let it expire. Either way the report, the values and the explanation are gone within the hour.
