Why you should download before you leave

The explanation exists only for the length of your session. Once it ends, it is gone, and there is no copy anywhere to restore from.

There are four ways to take it with you. Print or save as PDF gives you the readable version, including any safety notices. The spreadsheet export gives you the values, units, ranges, flags and collection date in a form you can open in Excel, Numbers or Sheets. The JSON export is the same data in a form other software can read. Copying the plain-text summary is useful for pasting into your own notes.

All four are generated in your browser from what is already on the page, so exporting does not create a new copy anywhere on our side.

Files are named generically — lab-report-explanation.pdf, confirmed-lab-values.csv — with no name, date of birth or values in the filename. That matters if the file lands in a shared downloads folder or gets attached to an email.
